Job Description : We’re searching for a talented and passionate Technical Lead having experience on Citrix (NetScaler/ADC, Citrix VDI) to join our CoE – Managed IT Services delivery team, which is responsible for remotely managing, securing, and supporting Cloud & IT infrastructure for our customers around the world.
Primary responsibility of the role is to ensure high availability of customers’ Citrix infrastructure managed by us. Perform Incident, Problem & Change Management activities, ensure that daily operational tasks are running smooth that includes daily health check of servers, managing daily operational tasks, resolving incidents, service requests and executing changes
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure high availability of customer’s Cloud & Citrix infrastructure
Provides leadership, support, and guidance to support engineers
Manage escalations and lead customer facing communication
Perform daily health check and routine scheduled maintenance. Review system logs and find potential issues
Configure and support NetScaler in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) includes configuring and troubleshooting
Administration and maintenance of Citrix VDI infrastructure and published applications
Troubleshoot and take ownership of incident until resolved
Complete service requests and execute changes assigned
Escalate issues/incidents to next level and follow-up until closure
Ensuring that the SLAs are met for all incident, problem, request, and change
Participate in root cause investigation
Review logs/monitoring data/reports to identify capacity bottleneck and suggest for improvement
Generate the various reports required for operations management
Keep tickets up to date as per response SLA in ITSM tool
Contribute knowledge articles and update them in a timely manner when required

about you
This is a 24×7 support operations role and is ideal for hard working and excellent in Citrix infrastructure and troubleshooting skills with a positive outlook. Ideally you should have minimum 5-8 years relevant experience including implementing and supporting Citrix infrastructure. You should be ready to work in shifts, in customer time zone and during off business hours.
Qualifications & Work Experience:
BE/B.Tech/MCA/ B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science)
Should have Citrix NetScaler / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop certification
CCIE/CCNP or equivalent certification, F5 / Palo Alto/Checkpoint certification
Experience in designing, implementing, managing, and migrating VDI environments using Citrix
Strong analytical experience for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance issues
Experience of deploying and managing multi-cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as hybrid implementations.
Experience in supporting managing Citrix NetScaler/ XenApp / XenDesktop Environments
In-depth knowledge in different Citrix technologies like Provisioning server, Access Gateway, Password manager, XenServer Edge sight, Secure Gateway, and Web interface
Knowledge of Advanced Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security)
Experience on cloud security and compliance
Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps principles
Experience working with some or all technologies below:
Citrix NetScaler/ADC
Citrix virtual apps and desktop
Managed Citrix Desktop on Azure
AD/DNS/DHCP/ADFS/PKI
F5/ Firewall /VPN
Azure/AWS/GCP
Skill Set:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent in creating service review and management reports
Good analytical skills and ability to identity trends
Ability to lead customer facing communication
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work cross functional with application, network, security, and workplace teams
Ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books, and knowledgebase
Knowledge of IT service manage standards
Knowledge of information security standards and compliance
Understanding and experience in working within an ITIL framework operational environment
