Accountabilities:
Working on CCET as Tech Lead supporting and advising the CCET IT teamCollaborate with Dev, Ops, ORTEC Tech Lead and other ORTEC teams to deliver enhancements and OpsEngage with Shell IT stakeholders about technical standards and requirements in ShellKeep technical expertise and the latest trends in the market up to date.Also, willing to learn relevant technologies as these skills help yourself and other individuals to perform their role more effectively and with more efficiency.Together with supplier ORTEC
o Take charge of monitoring the staff’s progress and evaluating reports on the same for supervisors
o Ensure proper training schedules for the staff

Your future duties and responsibilities:
About CCET:
The Capital Cost Estimating Tool (CCET) is the next generation capital cost estimating software within P&T Project Services (PTP/C) in Capital Project portfolio. CCET allows users to create estimates with an assigned accuracy range and provides an end-to-end estimate for all businesses with enhanced functionality.

Purpose:
This role as Technical Lead for CCET is to handle the technical team of CCET and ensure their successful functions and streamlined operations. The TL must understand the end-to-end development framework of CCET. The Technical Lead works with software engineers of the team to assist them with different operations. This role will also contribute hands on as part of development and support activities. The vision for these efforts is to provide a sustainable CCET platform for Capital Projects from Shell Upstream, Downstream and Project & Technology. This role requires working closely with several key stakeholders in the Business, IT and Supplier.

The technical Lead is expected to gain domain knowledge & technical solutioning and architecture of CCET. The technical lead supports, guides, and advice CCET developers to deliver the projects and enhancements of CCET.

The Tech Lead shares responsibility with the Development lead of the supplier ORTEC for the development and delivery of software, which may include new development, configuration and installation of third-party packages, and software integration efforts as well as reporting. It may include tasks from every part of the software development lifecycle, including software and website design, development, programming, and software deployment (both the installation and decommissioning of software).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Mandatory Qualifications

Typical Years of Experience: 12+ years of corporate IT experienceMinimum 6 years of Full stack development,
Experience in a similar role of leading teams TechnicallyMinimum Education or Certification: 4-year Bachelor / Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or any related field of IT.Minimum 4 years highly advanced knowledge and experience with complex software applications
