Job Description : Role expectations

Capture the technical information from the different sources such as
Agile-based Sprint Ceremonies such as Grooming and Demo
Dedicated Explanation Session by Product Managers
Communication with QA and Development Teams
Create high-quality, technically accurate, and grammatically correct content for the different types of documentation such as Release Notes, Installation and Configuration Guides, User Manuals, API Documents, Integration Documents, Feature Lists, How-to guides
Processes and Portals
Make sure that the new content is in line with the existing content
Understand and follow the established Documentation Processes at Ameyo
Maintain the Documentation Portal for both Internal and External Audiences (created in Adobe RoboHelp)
Feedback: Continuously improve documentation by responding to and incorporating feedback from customers and internal users.
Product Hands-on and Knowledge
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Test and use Ameyo applications to write the effective documentation
Capture screenshots and create diagrams or videos to produce the good-quality documents
Efficiency: Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. E.g.: reusing content from fortnightly Agile sprints for Quarterly GA Release cycles

Requirements:

BTech/B.E/MCA with 1-4 years of experience.
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
Writing Style Guides: Good to have. Experience of using style guides such as Microsoft Style Guide Tools
Adobe Robohelp/Madcap Flare: Create, edit and maintain documentation in Robohelp
Adobe Dreamweaver: Intermediate in HTML, CSS, and tools like Adobe Dreamweaver
Word/Google Docs: Editing and collaboration with non-tech writers such as developers, QAs, Product Managers over Google Docs
Video Editing: Good to have experience with video-based product walkthrough tools such as Camtasia
Image Capture: Lightshot
Agile and Project Management: Working knowledge of JIRA to manage tasks and feedbacks
