Job Description : Major Responsibility/ Job Responsibility:
Should be able to prepare the testing schedule, track the progress of milestones, update the status on a weekly basis and identify risk / risk mitigation
Strong knowledge of Test Case Designing
Hands–on experience of Manual Testing
Good knowledge of automation testing (Web browser automation like Selenium etc. or similar)
Hands- on experience of Eclipse IDE or similar
Experience in Waterfall/Agile development
Key Result Areas:
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
Exposed to various automated tools for functional testing
Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
Demonstrate strong knowledge of quality assurance and defect management in different types of Software Testing Methodologies
Ability to guide, train or mentor other team members
Necessary Qualification/ Technical Skills:
Minimum 4+ experience in Manual Testing
At least 1+ year hands-on experience in some Automation Tool such as Selenium etc.
Strong knowledge of Test Planning, estimation, Test Case Designing and execution.
Must have experience in handling a team and owing testing activities of multiple integrated projects
Must have knowledge of Database tools like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
Customer handling experience is a must.
Should have used various configuration/management tools like SVN, JIRA, or similar
Good troubleshooting skills.
Should be fine with travelling to client location and handling client independently.
Desirable:
ISTQB Foundation Certification recommended
Experience in Performance Testing
Experience in API Testing
Transportation Domain Experience
Special Skills (If Any):
Experience in Performance Testing
Experience in API Testing
