We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all types of test cases and utilizing automation test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you’ll achieve
Design and development activities associated with validating software systems and broader solutions. Greater impact with Software testing, designs test fixtures for various types of testing and test tools. As a Test Principal Engineer creates validation specifications and procedures for new and changes to existing software products. You will work on resource plans, schedules, equipment, and software required for validating and evaluating our solutions.
You will
Design and develop software test automation strategy, approach, tools enablement, and test scripting for the functional, system, and user level of testing across Dell Client Software products.

Essential Requirements
Creating test plans and test strategy by engaging with the Product and Development stakeholders
Design & Develops test cases for new or existing software and solutions products for better tests coverage
Develops test tools, automation scripts & frameworks for in use testing, Agile In-sprint testing
Directs a test team during test execution, and reports results to development engineers and leadership
Drive the test execution and reports the results of product validation on new hardware and SW products
Good experience with Python, Robot Framework, C#, API’s Testing, Selenium, Code ver control, etc
Leads the Test Engineering Automation to evaluate new tools and technologies
Hands-on expertise into Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence & CICD etc
Identifies and develops strategic test partnerships with Development Engineering and ODMs
Works with SW Engineering teams to clearly articulate gaming software test controls and test needs
Exposure with Gaming hardware (Graphics cards, CPU, Mice, Keyboards, Headsets) along with an excellent understanding of PC esports, streaming and handheld devices
Desirable Requirements
Requires 9+ years of related software testing and automation experience with Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer related field (B.E./B.Tech. – CSE/ECE)
Proficient in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies along with Test & Defect life cycles
Good knowledge of the Product development lifecycle and System Test Process and exposure to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), TDD (Test Driven Development) Testing Concepts (Black Box testing, Unit Testing, White/Grey box testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing, Regression testing, etc.),
Software test experience at Windows & Web based application along with focus on test automation.
Works with internal/external teams and test partners to define comprehensive end-to-end test coverage
Mentoring new engineers in test groups and ramping up university graduates (freshers)
Strong understanding of the client systems (Laptops/Desktop) peripherals
Experience in source code management systems (GIT, TFS, etc)
Education and Experience
Engineering Degree (CSE/ECE) or its equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience
