The Opportunity
Our client is a global health and financial services group with 30 million + customers. Based in Melbourne’s CBD with easy access to public transport, the business offers great work-life balance and incentives. They have an excellent team personality and collaborateive culture.
The client is looking for a mid level UX/UI Designer to work in an established large team to assist with the designing of quality user experience for future web, and mobile applications development. You will support each other an be able to influence internal clients with your experience and knowledge.
The key deliverables will be as follows:
High and low fidelity wireframes
Interactive prototyping
Contribute towards UX process improvements
Transition from external vendors, partners and continue UX work on projects
Delivery high quality of UI Design of projects in timely manner.
Proactively assist BAU team to identify UX issues and help to solve.
Deliver the UX design for new features of existing web and mobile applications when required.
Closely working with business owner to prioritise UX design items for each iteration when working in Agile environment.
Ensure the high quality of UX design.
Work with different applications and stakeholders to understand UX issues and actively solve them.
Learn and understand existing applications to be able to identify issues and provide solutions with reasonable estimate.
Requirements
Strong experience applying User Centred Design methodologies for web and mobile applications that leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices
Working knowledge of web and mobile app design best practices, focusing on responsive, adaptive and fluid design across multiple devices and screen types
Rich experience and great ability to work in an Agile environment.
Working knowledge of customer journey mapping
Fluent in creating information architecture documentation including sitemaps, user flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
Understanding of user interface design patterns and standard User Centred Design methodologies
Advanced knowledge of UX/UI software – Sketch, Invision, Axure, Zeplin and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or related tools·
Strong understanding of modern software and application development processes and methodologies including front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, CSS3
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
