Purpose of the position:
Senior Validation Engineer (Embedded products- Motor management devices)
Responsibilities & duties:
Reviewing and analyzing project’s Offer requirements, System & Product specifications.
Develop Validation Strategy and Validation Plan documents detailing the Test Architectures, Traceability Matrices and Test Bench requirements.
Develop Test Cases for Functional Tests, Regression Tests, Boundary Tests, Integration Tests, System Tests, Performance Tests, Robustness Tests etc.
Executing Validation Tests and Generating Validation Reports.
Reporting Defects after doing the root cause analysis.
Thorough understanding of Schneider processes and applying them in projects
Working in team environment – influencing colleagues and stakeholders.
Coaching and Mentoring
Experience & Key skills
ESSENTIALS:
Experience on Verification and Validation
Develop Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Cases.
Functional & Non-Functional Execution.
Experience on different tools to manage repository, Test case, Defects, Traceability.
Experience on Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution System.
Circuit Breakers (ACB, MCCB, MCB) & Meters.
Experience on Communication Protocols.
Modbus TCP, Modbus Serial, Bluetooth, Zigbee, IEC 61850.
Experience on Software application testing.
Scada or Monitoring & Control software
Experience on Cloud application testing.
Web App.
Mobile App – iOS & Android.
DESIRABLE
Understanding of System Engineering Practices.
Knowledge on Automation.
Knowledge on Cybersecurity.
Knowledge on IEC 61850.
Personal qualities & behavioural traits
Essential:
Clear and precise communication ability in English – Written and Verbal.
Ability to challenge and question requirements or implementation based on reasoned argument.
Ability to influence and convince by building trust in a team environment.
Desirable:
Leadership ability: Use technical competency to take and influence decisions in project.
