Job Description : Bristol Rovers Football Club are looking for a Accountant with an immediate start to carry out the following duties over the next 4-6 months. Potential for a permanent role.Main duties include:Ensuring the delivery of monthly management accounts along with supporting commentary and board reportingComplete bank reconciliations and control accountsUndertake VAT returnDrafting the statutory accounts for the group of companies and act as the main point of contact to external auditorsUse of accounts preparation software and bookkeeping and payroll packages including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks online.Controlling the group cash position and cash flow forecast including advising on cash requirements in a timely wayAuthorising purchases and approving purchasesProviding cover for junior staff when required, including assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns and reportingJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Temporary, Freelance, Temp to permContract length: 4 monthsPart-time hours: 28-35 per weekSalary: £35,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:accounting: 4 years (preferred)Expected start date: 01/03/2022
