An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team at Pembrokeshire County Council. The post will be supporting the Regional Education consortia, Partneriaeth which deliver school improvement services in South West Wales for Pembrokeshire County Council, Carmarthenshire County Council and Swansea City Council. Pembrokeshire County Council provide the financial support to Partneriaeth.

Supporting the Principal Accountant we are looking for a Part-qualified Accounting Technician level, working towards full qualification or equivalent with excellent numeracy skills and a methodical approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will have the ability to use initiative when required and to be able to complete tasks within set deadlines, supplemented with excellent communication skills.

Reporting to the Principal Accountant for Partneriaeth, the core duties include:

Monitoring of budgets to set deadlines
Assisting with closure of accounts
Communication with stakeholders.
