Accounts and Audit Semi Senior – North West London
An exciting opportunity has arisen with an independent accountancy practice based in Harrow. AJ Chambers is working with this firm to help them find a Semi Senior Accountant to join their supportive team.
This role will give you an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and become a well rounded accountant.
What will you be doing?
You will be preparing year end accounts to final stage, you will be completing VAT returns as well as self-assessments and CT600s. You will also be involved in audit work, primarily with the field work and scheduling. You will be given training throughout your time at the firm and will be given more responsibility as you learn more. The role would have a split of roughly
What will they expect from you?
You will be actively studying towards the AAT or ACCA qualification, you will have at least 2 years’ experience within accountancy practice. You will have prior experience of preparing year end accounts, as well as VAT returns. Prior experience in audit would be a plus. You will be able to show a willingness to learn and have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
