Job Description : Position ResponsibilitiesCompose, transcribe, type, distribute and file communications including proofreading, spell check while maintaining attention to detail, records, and legal documents from dictation and/or instruction utilizing the firm’s resources in the most efficient manner;Enter attorney’s time into accounting system;Independently prepare reoccurring reports and correspondence;Organize tasks and schedule time in a way that will accomplish department goals efficiently and effectively;Regularly communicate with the Office Manager on workload, and assist other team members when workload permits;Perform basic functions with regard to the telephone system, including answering, taking messages, screening, and transferring calls;Schedule appointments with attorneys and other ad-hoc office tasks as needed;Open and close client/matter files;Timely file all correspondence and other documents as required to maintain up-to-date records of client matters;Photocopy, scan, fax and utilize other office equipment as needed;Maintain calendars and assure that complete information is available for all matters, along with docketing deadlines;Maintain logs and records, as required;Using Firm’s accounting software, compile, store and retrieve billing data; andPerform all other admin & legal tasks assigned by the Office Manager.Must be able to type 60 WPMExcellent knowledge of the English language and legal terminology, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, legal office practice and documents and document processingIn-depth knowledge of advanced functions using the current version of Microsoft WordNeed to be able to convert documents and cleanup the formattingCreate labels and envelopesRead complicated revisions, detailed forms, tables, graphs and diagrams to determine the proper course of action, seeking further explanation when necessaryMust possess excellent organizational skills, good judgment skills, and problem-solving skillsJob Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, FresherSalary: ₹12,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per monthBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:YesEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Document management: 1 year (Required)Email Communication: 1 year (Required)Client Communication: 1 year (Required)Admin work: 1 year (Required)
