Job Description : Role and Responsibilities
Own / Prepare / manage iOS and Android builds for AppStore, TestFlight, internal tracks, CI pipeline.
Ensure iOS App Store / Android Play Store policies and requirements are addressed in timely manner.
Work closely with QA, Engineering Team, Security Team, Product team, internal and external teams to prepare the build and ensure quality standards are achieved for each release.
Task and manage various dependencies – SDK’s, libraries, certificates etc .utilized in each product and coordinate with team to ensure dependencies are up to date.
Planning and giving weekly updates on the release activities.
Proactively identity and mitigate risks to the release cycle.
Create and maintain internal documentation on release programs to ensure everyone is operating from most recent and accurate information
Continuously evaluate App Analytics and Identify KPI’s, monitor, measure and communicate release metrics.
Continuously improve alpha, beta and production releases tooling and process.
Maintain user accounts, bundle ID, App ID, provisioning profiles, certificates and devices on the Developer portal.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Technology)
Exposure and experience in build and deployment activities of Native iOS and Android Apps.
Knowledge of XCode / Android Studio, app configurations.
Familiar with build tool kit (Gradle, Jenkins, Fastlane) to automate and manage the build process
Knowledge of software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience in using Apple App Store connect and Google Play console.
Strong organisational, project management, analysis and communication skills.
Knowledge of Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process (Jenkins preferred)
Knowledge of GIT
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Experience working with the Atlassian suite of products (JIRA, confluence etc)
Proficiency in app build and release automation tool like Fastlane
Proven work relationships across multiple teams in different time zones
Having worked with patterns such as feature flagging and A/B testing
Preferred:
Willing to go the extra mile to do things right and fast.
Able to learn large scale complex systems quickly.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software
development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
