Job Description : A *nix architect with 10+ years” experience in managing, troubleshooting and maintaining a HCI and Cloud environment with exposure to many flavors of *nix (Linux, AIX, HP-UX etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceptual design, configuration and administration of server landscapes with focus on *nix Operating systems
Drive innovation to optimize, automate and standardize the operational delivery processes
Managing the daily operations, ensure high availability
Strong collaboration with other support teams within and outside HEC Delivery Unit Strong alignment and close cooperation with internal customers and partners
Designing, deploying, managing, and support a variety of *nix systems and platforms in an enterprise environment.
All aspects of *nix server administration including database administration, networking, security, backups, etc
Explore and learn the latest cloud server technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency
Help build and document well-defined processes while continually improving reporting, alert management, process analysis, infrastructure analysis and automation to improve the stability of our systems.
Cybersecurity auditing including user account management, server updates and patch management
Coordination with different internal departments including, networking, security, sales and management.
Interacting with the clients for daily operations and projects.
Working with other technical and presales team.
Leading and managing a team of *nix Admins, supporting multiple projects and be responsible for their technical growth and performance review.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
Cloud Platform experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc)
Experience securely operating large number of *inux servers
Enterprise Networking & troubleshooting
Shell Scripting
Excellent communication skills in English
RECOMMENDED SKILLS
Hypervisor technologies (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, ProxMox, etc)
Backup Management (Tivoli, TSM)
SIEM and Monitoring systems
Experience in Puppet skillset evaluate
Scripting experience
Hands-on experience in phython, perl
