Position Summary:
Providing a centralized onboarding experience for new hires in Talent Acquisition (recruiters, coordinators, and sourcing professionals) increases the agility and productivity of new hires and reduces the need for experienced recruiters and managers to manage on their own.
The W2 (“Welcome to”) Recruiter Onboarding Lead will drive the onboarding and training process for new campus and experienced hire Talent Acquisition team members through centralized training modules. This role is responsible for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of new learning and development programs, including pilot programs. The individual in this role will be required to coordinate and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) such as Independence, Talent Relations, Recruiting Technology, and others, as well as key stakeholders, including Talent Acquisition campus and experienced hire professionals across all businesses in USI.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver overview training sessions to campus and experienced hire FTE and contractors Create and maintain onboarding materials on centralized site
Schedule centralized training for each start date and create onboarding schedule for new hires Schedule recurring open forum/discussion sessions Collaborate with SMEs to gather input from each business and ensure training materials are current Formalize mentor/buddy program for new hires Gather feedback from learners and incorporate into curriculum for continuous improvement Maintain new hire roadmap checklists to follow during their first 30-days with the firm specific to their recruiter role and complimentary to W2D checklists Evaluate and enhance onboarding program framework to ensure the execution of a consistent candidate experience across areas of Talent Acquisition Manage candidate experience survey, analyze results, and make recommendations Collaborate with team members on best practices
Manage projects with ability to anticipate challenges and develop contingency plans
Interface with all levels within the organization, including business recruiting leaders
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of Talent Acquisition or related experience
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in Recruitment and working knowledge on Avature Deloitte cross-business knowledge Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities Strong facilitation and communication (written/verbal) skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-driven, multi-tasking environment Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
