Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Cloud Ops Delivery
In this role, you should have proven experience assessing client’s workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap.
You shall be expected to possess knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.,) and mentor team to build necessary competency.
You should also hold strong understanding of the cloud orchestration such and should be able to define and design solutions independently based on the driving factors such as costs / non-functional requirements and functional requirements.
Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert level of Azure skills as Technical Architect with implementation and sustenance experience dealing with global stakeholders
Awareness of different technology stacks like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, 2-Tier application, 3-Tier Application, Micro Service, Kubernetes, PaaS services etc. Hands on experience will be an added advantage
Experience in Systems Operations / Management, Database architecture, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, IT Security, Wintel, Linux
Proven knowledge of Azure platform, tools, and native services
Expertise in overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud environments including public / private and traditional IT (hybrid / enterprise cloud). Ability to act as consultants on cloud strategy and need to stay up to date on the latest trends and issues and development in the hybrid cloud world
Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes (Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, and Cloud formation)
Design the overall Virtual Network environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
Design the AZURE network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
Design the HA / DR strategies
Set up process, services, and tools around Azure cloud
Oversee build of the environment
Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls
Hands on experience with cloud assessment and migration steps
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation
Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools
Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
B-Tech. BE / MCA from reputed university
AZURE Solutions Architect Certification
Proven high rich experience working as Solution Architect
Preferred qualifications
Good command over Linux shell command
Good command over Windows PowerShell
Scripting knowledge of at least one of the following:
Bash
Python
