Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this exciting position would be responsible for planning, executing short- and long-term projects for Life Science India business. Candidate would be accountable for anchoring all Project Managers for projects happening across the Indi network.
The projects would normally have several components like construction, machine installation, utility installations, digital and automation projects, and technology transfer projects from other global sites.
Function Skills
Create project plan involving various options from various stake holders. Work on construction plans, machine installation, utility installations, digital and automation projects, and technology transfer projects
Work on AutoCAD and MS Projects for project scheduling
Manage the delivery of research, workshops, and other activities to support the specification and agreement of project deliverables.
Manage the production of project and workstream plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized and resourced to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization’s project and program management framework.
Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
Draft project review reports and presentations, including key information, commentary, and recommendations to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change.
Works at an advanced level to ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, archiving, and disposition of project information.

Recommended Education/Work Experience:
Must have worked in chemical / Life Science / Pharmaceutical Industry
BE in chemical / Electrical
Proficiency in MS Project / Autocad / Visio / Minitab
Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a maintenance and project management area in chemical / Life Science / Pharmaceutical Industry
Experience with frequent visibility and interaction with senior level managers
Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO and cGMP.
Experience in regulated industry (medical device, pharma, biotech) a plus.
Certifications: Black Belt or Green Belt , PMP a plus.
