Reporting to a Senior QA Engineer, you will help to build and maintain the test automation frameworks and suites, allowing us to deliver high quality solutions at speed that will continue to delight our customers.*Your Responsibilities*Automate acceptance tests, documented in Gherkin notationMaintain web & mobile UI automation frameworks, as well as API tests, in line with the strategy and roadmapWork within Agile teams to deliver and maintain effective automated test suitesFollow best-practices and guidelines for testing tools and techniquesRequirements5-6 years of practical and rich hands-on experience across a range of testing types, ideally both functional and non-functional; for example smoke, unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, api, etc.Strong technical skills (must have):Experience building and maintaining UI and API – driven test automation frameworksStrong Experience in Javascript and Webdriver IO is a MUSTNode.js and/or Python experience would also be beneficialMobile app automation experience – iOS and Android, preferably with AppiumExperience working in Agile teams using BDD (Gherkin / Cucumber)Clear, open and direct communication skillsThe ability to build good working relationships with managers and peers across the organisationGood to have:Development backgroundComfortable querying databases, using Cloud services (AWS preferred), and interacting with RESTful APIsExperience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (we use CircleCI and Jenkins)BenefitsRemote first and flexible workingL&D – peer and platform learning – it’s at the heart of what we doMedical insuranceHome-working / Wellbeing allowancePerkbox – wide ranging benefits; discounted shopping and servicesEmployee Assistance ProgrammePension contributionsEnhanced maternity leaveAnnual leave – 20 days + day off on your birthdayCompany socialsJob Type: Full-time
