We are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented, focused, and customer-obsessed Senior Automation Engineer to join our team.
Our team works on automation development for several standalone and cloud based networking solutions provided by Aruba, an HPE company.
The role:
1. Collaborate with internal QA and development teams to gather automation requirements and develop automation scripts within the planned schedule.
2. Coordination and communication within the team. Take complete ownership to finish the assigned tasks.
3. Mentor and guide other team members and drive complex automation projects.
4. Perform code review, verify, and validate the code developed and deployed.
5. Maintain automation documentation.
6. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
7. Triages issues efficiently and follows up the status proactively.
8. Be accountable for timely release of the products by ensuring that automation is executed in required frequency.
9. Development of automation framework, libraries, tools and test harness to automate repetitive tasks for QA, Development, or automation team members.
Skillset:
1. High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in a collaborative (Agile) environment.
2. Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
3. Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
4. Experience in driving complex automation projects collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.
5. At least 6 years of experience in advance python programming. Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills are a must.
6. Experience in designing and build scalable, automated test frameworks and test suites.
7. Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, REST API, XML, JSON, HTML.
8. Hands on experience with Linux/Windows/MacOS and Virtualization (VMware/KVM/Hyper-V).
9. Basic knowledge of networking and network security protocols (IP addressing, TCP, UDP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS).
10. Knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL or SQL).
11. Exposure to at least one cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc.).
12. Knowledge of GoLang is a plus.
Minimum requirements for the role:
1. Minimum education at BE or Master level in Computer Science or related fields.
2. 8-12 years of relevant industry experience.
