Azure Application Architect
Roles & Responsibilities:
Consult with development and business teams on application requirements, incorporating desired functionalities into application development plans, and supervising application development stages on cloud platforms.Collaborate with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.Compile and implement application development plans for new or existing applications.Lead the application development team and supervise the design, testing, and modification stages.Demonstrate application prototypes and integrate user feedback.Write scripts and code for applications, as well as install and update applications.Mentor junior application developers and provide end-users with technical supportRun diagnostic tests and performing debugging procedures.Perform application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.Document application development processes, procedures, and standards.Integrate trends in application architecture in application development projects.Build interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js (OR other HLL) backendDefine code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprintAddress and improve any technical issuesCollaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems
Mandatory Skills:
Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a specialization in software engineering, application development, or similar.A minimum of 10 years of experience as an application architect, preferably in a related industry.Certification in Azure, with 3 years of experience working in Azure environmentInvolve in every step of the application software development process from creating models and prototypes, evaluating potential risks and defects, analysing specifications and customizing applications for specific customers.Highly proficient in programming languages, such as SQL, Java, C, and .NET and exposure towards Angular and Node.js programming technologies.Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs.Experience in designing microservices applications, microservices design patterns and exposure to database technologies i.e.. NoSQL, Cassandra DB and any other databases.Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX designExperience in integrating applications with existing systems to ensure a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity.Create and produce documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing procedures relating to each product developed.Create documentation for installation and maintenance of application software as well as guidelines and standards that should be adhered to for each product.Experience with modern frameworks and design patternsUnderstanding of git repositories and CI/CD pipelines, branching strategy
