Job Description : Backend Developer Job is available in Karachi for an IT Company in Pakistan. Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Computer Science) along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience of version control, such as Git and ability to manage a hosting environment are encouraged to apply.
Backend Developer job role is responsible for creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire back end. This includes the core application logic, databases, data and application integration, API and other back end processes.
Job Responsibilities:
To manage a hosting environment, including database administration as well as scaling applications to handle load changes
Deployment and management of servers on linux environment with understanding of bash scripting and linux administration.
To consume, develop and deploy APIs (REST and SOAP) for various devices and system’s interconnectivity
Well organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, excellent time-management, planning and prioritization
In-depth knowledge of backend programming language and framework including Node.js and Java
In-depth understanding of system architecture and analyse the goals and requirements, handle bugs and errors, and come up with solutions. Experience with version control, such as Git
Skills:
Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
Knowledge of Mobile web development or cloud app development
Skilled in performance tuning, query plan / explain plan analysis, indexing, table partitioning
Exceptional knowledge of Database technologies – RDBMS and NoSQL, Knowledge of caching mechanisms like varnish Memcached Redis is a plus
Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to communicate with the front-end team
