Position Summary
This position is part of the Communications and Engagement (CE) pillar in EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS). The Global Industry Communications Supervising Associate (Assistant Manager) at GDS, will support the delivery of internal communications that engage EY people within the priorities and enablement strategies of EY’s Industry Markets and Sectors.
The Supervising Associate (Assistant Manager / AM) will work directly with the Global Industry Communications and Engagement team and Industry Market stakeholders and must work collaboratively across the Communications and Engagement group, as well as the wider Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function.

The AM’s responsibilities will include managing the communications infrastructure for multiple Industry Markets, having oversight of the core communications channels including newsletters, email messages, webcasts, and Daily News Alerts. The AM will maintain a communications activity calendar for each Industry Market, ensuring activities are strategically coordinated and team members adhere to deadlines. The role combines writing and editing communications and leveraging EY’s internal creative services teams for developing visually appealing content. They will often track and capture communications activity, using data analytics and other metrics to report back to stakeholders on the success of communications programs, and making recommendations on how to improve communications channels and campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities
Essential
Develop and maintain a communications calendar for each Industry Market and the Sectors within them.
Work closely with the Global Industry Markets leader and their GDS counselor to deliver employee communications
Develop and deploy consistent communications plans that reach key internal audiences, while allowing for local input, customization and
integration of messages in appropriate channels
Support delivery of specific programs and initiatives through the creation and deployment of communications toolkits for BMC colleagues; develop toolkit
content including messaging guides and other collateral as required; and provide ongoing support for regions to deliver these programs successfully
Present feedback from the Regions to global communications to share knowledge and influence global planning where appropriate
Measures campaigns and provides insights on market impact and evaluation of ROI, using tools like PoliteMail, and make recommendations on improving channels
Manage the Industry Market and Sector communications channels, ensuring each channel is delivered on time to a high standard.
Deliver on projects that are related to higher-level, strategic long-term objectives
Collaborate closely with other team members and colleagues across BMC to align and integrate strateHelp to prioritize projects to ensure alignment with key
areas of focus for Global BD and BMC
Demonstrate broad communications management experience, ideally gained within professional services or in a similar world-class global organization,
with strong working knowledge of the professional services sector and commercial awareness
Demonstrate first-class communications skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as consulting, listening and interpretation skills
Demonstrate meticulous editing skills with very strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output
Demonstrate the ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and to influence those stakeholders as a trusted advisor
Show initiative, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrate reliability
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Be a strong self-starter and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
