Job Description : Dick Lovett Bristol is looking for a BMW/MINI Dealership Accountant.
Your role
We are looking for a CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant who is an excellent communicator with the ability to converse at all levels and work closely with all stakeholders to contribute to the success of the business.
As a Dealership Accountant you will be responsible for:
Production of accurate monthly management accounts within specified time scales.
Maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts.
Accurate and timely compilation of manufacturer’s composite reports.
The people management of the Accounts teams at BMW Bristol managing their coaching and development.
Preparation of annual budgets.
Supporting the Head of Business and working closely with the management team to help enhance their performances.
Ensuring the accounts team are competent in their roles, understand their responsibilities and follow the company’s systems and procedures.
Weekly aged debt and WIP reviews as well as cash flow monitoring.
Carrying out monthly accounts and KPI reviews with the management team.

Your profile
We are looking for candidates with the following skills; Accountant, CIMA, ACCA, Reporting, Cash Flow, Monthly Accounts, WIP, Accounts Preparation, Mentoring, Coaching, People Management, Stakeholder Management, IT Literate, Excel, CDK, ADP, Kerridge, Keyloop, DRIVE, VAT, Taxation, Finance, Analysis, Motor Trade, Balance Sheet, Reconciliation.
We will welcome applications from candidates who also have any experience with the following programmes: CDK, ADP, Kerridge, Keyloop or DRIVE, but this is not essential. Our ideal candidate will also have an up to date understanding and knowledge of all matters relating to finance, VAT and taxation.
The ideal candidate will also have the following:
Good knowledge of Excel
Ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands and schedule work appropriately to meet deadlines
Proven motor trade experience is preferable but not essential
Good analytical skills with the ability to spot errors and think outside the box
Full discretion with confidential and sensitive information
