At Edward Jones, you will be part of a product team responsible for providing high-quality, current, efficient and stable tools to contact center associates throughout the firm. Our key systems include Salesforce Service Cloud (chatbot, live chat, communities), ITSM, multiple web-based applications and batch programs. We are responsible for supporting and enhancing existing systems and developing technology solutions that support and enhance service and operation divisions in alignment with firm’s vision.
What you’ll do
As a Certified Salesforce Developer, you will help design, configure, code, test, implement, enhance and support contact center tools, modules and integrations using the leading-edge technologies on Cloud platform. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the team, leaders and product owners and be a lead technical person.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
Develop system migration programs between the salesforce.com platform and other vendor or in-house systems and databases.
Follow the development protocols in the CRM team and effectively utilize the development management tools like Jira etc.
Work with the Migration Product Development Manager and CRM architect to get migration code reviewed and approved.
Collaborate with the Business Analysis, Data Migration, Quality Assurance and Release Management group members to ensure the development milestones are all achieved on time.
Continuously monitor the latest releases and trends of the Salesforce.com platform and enhance the migration programs; keep the migration package up to date based on the API changes
Work closely with support teams and delivery manager to address incidents and problem queues.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field.
5+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years of development experience on Salesforce platforms.
Experience with at Salesforce Service Cloud, Communities, Chatbot, Live Chat, Knowledge, Apex, Rest and Soap APIs.
Current Salesforce certifications (e.g. App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II a bonus)
Experience with VS Code, Eclipse, GitHub, Spring Boot, Junit, Microservices and AI is a plus.
Understanding of Product Teams and Agile methodology and practices.
Knowledge of financial service industry is a plus
