Hence, planning to bring on board a dynamic, energetic individual to lead the Finance & Accounts including fundraising for the fast-growing Home Funrnising Industry to achieve excellent financial growth, market share, and customer baseDEPARTMENT / FUNCTION SUMMARYThe finance Function is one of the most critical functions of the organization. It is responsible for financial planning and accounting, including revenue forecasting and expenditure control, thus ensuring that adequate funds are available for achieving the objectives of the organization. It will have complete control and record of financial transactions, maintenance of internal control procedures such as financial regulations, inflow, and outflow of funds, high alertness and compliance with all statutory payouts, fundraising, investors relationships, and other requirements; preparing financial reports, profit, and loss a/c, etc. Communicate and advise the management committee on financial status from time to time, so that the management committee can take appropriate financial decisions.PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will partner with the Management Committee as the custodian of the organization’s long-term financial health. He will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and evaluating the overall performance of the organization with an emphasis on bottom-line /profitability, working capital, and enhancing investors/shareholders’ value. This position will provide strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and the securing of new funding, also useful financial insights to help in making better decisions about formulating and executing long term business strategy, as about business investments and source of funds as well as financial reporting to Management Committee.The CFO is primarily responsible for managing the financial risks of the organization. Also, responsible for financial planning, analysis of data, and record-keeping and must Interact effectively with other functions of the organization & support the executive committee members with key financial information and operational analytics and driving a culture of accountability in managing the business, adding value to operating businesses and voicing well-substantiated dissenting opinions.KEY PERFORMANCE AREA (KRA)1. Team ManagementRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESKRA 1 FINANCIAL FORECASTING AND PLANNINGPrepare the financial planning and annual budget plan for the organizationProactively monitor and drive budget delivery of revenue and profit objectivesMonitor and direct the implementation of strategies and key action steps in line with the annual business plan.Conduct meaningful proactive financial analysis to improve key business decisions.Develop performance measures that support P & L delivery with an alert eye on cost management.Regular monitoring of the organization’s financial performance, enabling timely course correction through respective executive committee members.KRA 2 FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS AND REVIEWManage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts, lead the preparation of quarterly forecasts, monthly analysis, and quarterly operating reviews, through timely and accurate MIS concerning funding activities and deployment/utilization of fundsProactively manage cash flow for smooth operation and working capital management.Manage capital budgeting, communicate capital requirements/ implications of business decisions to the Management CommitteeGrow equity value – increase gross profit and reduce debt.Manage Profit & Loss Accounts and Financial Management of the company.Ensure compliance with local, state, and statutory budgetary reporting requirementsResponsible for sourcing funds requirements to support Working Capital needsRecommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performanceMonitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Manage the preparation of all financial reportsManage relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure cost-effective and preferential services for ADPL. Review credit rating periodically and develop mechanisms to ensure the achievement of target credit ratingFinalize templates for project costing & liaise with Executive Committee to periodically review effort-cost associations; communicate the rationale for project costing to concerned HODAssist Management in the development of guidelines for investment of ADPL funds in line with financial risk management guidelines.KRA 3 FINANCIAL ADVISORYProvide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing long term business strategyClosely work with Management Committee on bringing Investors on board, due diligence, acquisition, mergers, etc.Financial & Strategic Planning in terms of risk assessment, efficient internal control, financial performance management, decision analysis, risk management, etc.Strategic Planning & Management – Part of the Executive Committee and Management Committee, contributing to the strategy formulation, resourcing, cost optimization, and implementation and evaluationDevelop and implement policies on the banking mix for project level and corporate level fund requirementsEvaluation and guidance on the new business opportunity and investment in new business projects & properties.Effectively manage Investors, banks, the Management Committee board, financial advisor relationships, and statutory authorities.Ensures efficient capital expenditures for minimizing taxesKRA 4 COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENTEnsure all statutory compliances as per the law and advise the management committee from time to time in this regard.Ensure all returns monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns are filedResponsible for all direct and Indirect taxation, GST, TDS, etc.Develop financial and tax strategiesCustodian of internal and external compliancesKRA 5 TEAM MANAGEMENTDevelop and coach the existing team, upscale their knowledge and performance.Must have Operational control with the team through planning/review systemTraining and capability building and take complete operational controlFoster an environment of learning, excellence, and innovation within all aspects of teamworkOther Responsibilities;Responsible for all record-keeping as per the IT act and statuary obligations.Institutionalize audit mechanisms, interdepartmental audits to bring cost control.Simplify system and process, develop SOP’s and implement.Atomization of the entire finance function.ACADEMICS & QUALIFICATIONCharted Accountant (CA) from ICAIAdditional courses in Financial Business Administration, ICWAI is preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum 8+ Years of experience, including at least 3+ years of leadership management experience in a business partnering / strategic decision support role.Should have a strong background and specialization in the Finance function, with an orientation towards Business Finance and Business PartneringExposure to investor management, fundraising, and DD handling experience with entrepreneurial setup will be an advantageShould have exposure to multi-cultural work environmentsFUNCTIONAL SKILLS Outstanding candidate with demonstrated leadership experience and a professional track record of exceptional performance in key executive financial positions.Leadership skill demonstrates the efficiency of execution, continuously develops employees and coaches for performance.Excellent Communication SkillsStrategic thinking/visioning, creative/innovation, and attention to detailProven ability for resolving conflicts /issuesOrganization and planning with good commercial sense, and analysis skillsPERSONAL SKILLS Integrity/HonestyMoves quickly and effectively with a go-getter attitudeFlexibility and adaptability to mixed cultureCreates a network of talented people in the industry circle.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹2,000,000.00 – ₹2,800,000.00 per yearBenefits:Cell phone reimbursementFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLeave encashmentPaid sick timePaid time offProvident FundSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:YesEducation:Master’s (Preferred)Experience:total work: 7 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Chartered Accountancy Certificate (Required)Speak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
