CT ServiceNow Lead – Development and Engineering – Manager

The opportunity
This job entails providing technical leadership to the ServiceNow Development team. Ensure that the ServiceNow platform is managed effectively, patched and upgraded on a timely basis. Provide guidance and mentor junior team members. We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Your key responsibilities
Lead and Manage the ServiceNow Development teamGuide and Assist development team on the technical solutionsWork closely with a group of System Analysts to understand the requirements and provide estimates, solutions and work on the project plansWork closely with IT and Non-IT user groups Provide the right solutions, good customer support and maintain good relationsMotivates direct team to accept change and adapt priorities in order to meet changing demands. Adapts personal approach to meet the needs of different or new situationsCollaborates with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work. Maintains strong relationships with internal/external customers and business stakeholders. Builds a broad network of strong relationships across the organizationProvides recommendations to management and business stakeholders on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes. Demonstrates the ability to effectively utilize multiple approaches to gain buy-inDevelops, coaches, and mentors’ members of the team and provides development assignments. Communicates performance expectations and monitors and evaluates performance of members of team to ensure plans are met
Skills and attributes for success
Proven experience with ServiceNow configuration elements (LDAP, VPN, SSO/SAML, etc.)Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment
To qualify for the role, you must have
Expert in JavaScript development in ServiceNow componentsExperience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON)Experience with System / Process Automation (Orchestration)Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system designDevOps experienceExperience with governance/service management / operationsExperience managing remote teamsCertified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)Strong expertise in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, CSS and Angular JS: Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets and UI PagesBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification or related field preferredMore than 10 years in a corporate IT environmentGood experience in client-facing rolesExperience of working with multi-location teams
Ideally, you’ll also have
Certified Implementation Specialist in at least 3 product suites
