Your Role and Responsibilities
As Cloud and DevOps engineer, you are responsible for commissioning, configuring, and maintaining the application ecosystem constating of RedHat OpenShift cloud clusters, Load balancers for cloud, a Very good understanding of network topology. Ensure high availability of systems to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction, meet expected Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. Perform and automate application deployments and system/vulnerabilities patches in a timely manner. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outages or disasters.

Responsibilities:
Work in tandem with our Application and Infrastructure Architects to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and cloud infrastructure maintenance.
Deploy and Release Cloud Services (microservices, JAVA and node apps )
Automation, Monitoring & Event Management,
Troubleshooting, Data-driven/ scientific approach to fact-finding,
Tools & Technology across the Software development life cycle
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment of open source solutions.
OS administration skills (Installation, configuration and maintenance/troubleshooting of Linux Servers) on Linux REHL (6,7, 8)
Deploy applications, performance tuning, troubleshooting, maintain security and automate routine procedures through scripting.
Configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency of containerization tools and understanding Docker and Kubernetes.
Should have the knowledge to deploy and run application software on virtual machines.
Infrastructure Orchestration.
Specific Programming Skills(like java, GO) with a good understanding of Coding Standards
Configuration Monitoring/Management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Dynatrace/Splunk Chef
Exposure on Jenkins & deployment on CI/CD, DevOps Toolchain like Jenkins, Jira, Urban Code, Jfrog, Slack, etc
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to work in shifts as needed
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Self-directed, ambitious individual with creative approach to work

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Working experience in an Agile environment.
Understanding virtual networks and general network management functions.
Experience working with programming languages, including Java, Python, and Ruby
Any migration experience from monolithic to microservices-based architecture
