Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for Sell and Deliver:

Sell :
Provide demonstration of IBM credentials in Cloud Security Strategy, Risk and Compliance as well as a good understanding of multiple domains IAM, Security Operations Consulting, Application and Data Security and Infrastructure Endpoint, leveraging principles of Zero Trust security architectures, and cloud native & hybrid security solutions;
Drive security transformation offerings and be a focal point in UKI to help understand existing capabilities, offerings, client references and experiences;
Act as a senior thought leader in cloud security transformation internally in IBM and externally in marketing events and industry conferences;
Ability to sell security solutions to the C-suite and the Board and existing relationships / examples of such interaction;
Work closely with the global, regional and local solution design teams in developing client presentations and SOWs.

Deliver :
Detailed knowledge of architecting and leading delivery of cloud native delivery methods and blueprints, security and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, CaaS and SaaS across one or more hyperscaler;
Delivery should center around adopting agile approach, leveraging automation across application and infrastructure security via DevSecOps driven approach;
Working with global and local teams, help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery;
Participate in project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs;
Help resolve program issues as they arise with senior leadership;
Good understanding of cloud architecture and industry standards are required;
Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of experience in software security (security researcher, security engineer, security architect).
Infrastructure security, security SDLC and secure SaaS practices.
Risk assessment and management, and threat modeling.
Security reviews for code/design/architecture and requirements.
Security compliance and frameworks such as FedRAMP or CSA CCM.
Hardening procedures.
Network administration and security.
Identity management and authentication systems and protocols (Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, RADIUS).
Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibilities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Cloud Certification in for at least one hyperscaler (including RedHat), security specialist certifications preferred;
Working experience of industry compliance and security standards for traditional on-premise security including ISO 27001, NIST;
Working knowledge of key cloud security frameworks such as CSA CCM, CISM, SASE, ZTNA, etc;
Working experience on cloud service models (IaaS, Paas, SaaS etc), infrastructure and technology;
Working knowledge in two or more domains across identity management, data security, application, security, threat and vulnerability management, workload security, network security, and security event and incident management;
Extensive track record in delivering large-scale, complex and multi-year security transformation programs / projects in various capacities (e.g. program director, program manager, senior delivery/technical lead);
Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions;
At least 8 years’ experience in working with security consulting and/or architecture roles;
