Title / Grade: Quant Analytics Manager / 603
Location: Bangalore / Mumbai, India
The role is to lead analytics in a highly collaborative environment with partners across CCB Connected Commerce space across Travel, Loyalty, Payments, Lending, Offers and Partner Benefits.
The individual will be responsible for delivering data insights across a wide array of features (travel, cashback, pay with points, complimentary benefits, etc.), evaluate/develop business case analytics in support of Travel investments, and effectively communicate analysis results and recommendations. Successful candidates will need to excel at creative and strategic thinking, be self-motivated and intellectually curious, and ready to work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
This role will have primary support for Travel and India management role for other pillars within Connected Commerce space.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for analytics related to rewards and benefits across the Chase Credit Card product suite
Perform deep dive customer profile and segmentation analysis to understand impact on performance with different strategies & help develop optimized rewards investment strategies for maximizing business growth and financial profitability
Interact regularly with the Travel team, understand goals, priorities & play the role of an effective partner to devise strategies with customer focused analysis to realize growth opportunities
Be an expert in your area to understand rewards and benefits trends and implications from a diverse set of strategic initiatives and marketplace dynamics
Leverage segmentation techniques to develop strategies that can be leveraged across Product line to improve profitability / ROI
Proactively bring ideas to the table to drive efficiencies and drive engagement
Drive data insight automation and process improvements leveraging tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc. and reduce dependence on legacy methods
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics
10+ years of related experience within marketing, finance or risk analysis; experience evaluating complex business problems, data analysis and devising recommendations
Proficiency writing code to query data using SAS and/or SQL, working knowledge of database environments to perform data analysis in Oracle and/or Unix and/or Teradata environment
Skills in other languages such as R, Python is not a must but desired & knowledge of tools like Tableau, Alteryx will be preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of the key drivers within the credit card P&L is preferred
Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving, strong verbal and written communication skill
Proven ability to manage deliverables in a highly AGILE environment
Prior experience in leading / mentoring team members and deliver insights across variety of Data Science Projects
Understanding of Lending/Payment products and basic hands on knowledge of Digital Analytics Tools and metrics.
