This individual contributor role is primarily responsible for planning and execution related to Commercial Data Analytics (Data to Insights – Driving Commercial Intensity & Outcomes), Data Governance and Automation initiatives in India & South Asia.

Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Partner with Business and Sales Leadership to understand the business needs and enable through analytics and actionable insights to see more, do more and win more
Analyses Commercial Internal and Market Data (Leads, Opportunity, Quotes, Order, Revenue, Installed Base, Service Contract, NPI – New Product Introduction, Price & Margin, Customer Experience, Sales Performance, Incentives, Market Reports etc.) for insights that help decision making, drive commercial performance and initiatives
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy as well as brings out actionable insights for course correction in short and medium term
Develops analytics and insights in various commercial aspects including (1) Wing to Wing Analytics by Accounts, Territory, Product Lines, GTMs – Go to Markets, Customer Segments, etc. (2) Productivity and pricing analysis and metrics, (3) Competition and market insights, (4) Sales / field force and GTM effectiveness and (5) Territory Planning and Market coverage
Collaborates with other Global and functional COEs and teams such as finance, pricing, marketing and channel excellence to source data, analytics and insights and integrate pieces of data inputs and insights to create integrated insights capability for India SA business
Partners and participates in global projects and programs to get India regional requirements prioritized and leverage outcomes to create impact for India business
Runs commercial campaigns and gamified initiatives to drive commercial intensity, promote culture of winning and competitive spirit
Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Commercial Data Governance and Automation
Ensure and implement robust data governance on commercial tools (SFDC – Sales force Accounts, Account Hierarchy, Inter system Cross Reference, Quality of Data Sourced into SFDC)
Standardize processes, document SOPs, monitor process adherence through systemic controls and Data Governance metrics for resilient and sustainable outcomes
Drive process rigour and accountability with horizontal teams to ensure first time right data input for accounts, opportunity, quotes etc. including downstream touch points.
Create an ecosystem to drive data-based decisions and automate to reduce manual efforts to collect, clean/ enrich and prepare data as required for various analysis
Required Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate (MBA or Alike) preferred
Minimum 8 years of industry experience, preferably in Healthcare
Minimum 6 years’ experience in business analytics, commercial insights and data governance
Must have an experience of creating dashboards and drawing insights using one or more of Tableau (preferred), Wave/Einstein, Spotfire, etc.
Strong analytical, process and project management skills and ability to collaborate with horizontal teams to drive change management and process simplification
Good presentational skills, able to present ideas to key stakeholders in a way that produces understanding and impact, and gains engagement
Proven experience of working with commercial teams and leadership
Desired Characteristics
Experience managing large, cross-functional initiatives
Experience in application lean and six sigma methodologies for improving process, improving quality (first time right), reducing waste, reducing TAT.
Strong business acumen, accept challenges and ability to adapt and accommodate changing business priorities and business environment
Proven leadership skills and ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams
Ability to clearly define and resolve complex issues within the area or responsibility. Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
