This is a full time, permanent contract position required for 36.25 hours per week. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with other departments and engaging with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?We are seeking a highly motivated person who is able to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will:Be highly numerate with advanced level Microsoft Excel skills;Have extensive experience working in a financial accounting role; andHave a thorough understanding of how finance can positively impact the commercial success of the organisation whilst demonstrating the communication skills required to translate this understanding into action.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team and to continuously improve the in-house delivery of our financial service, whilst gaining valuable experience to develop your future career.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?This role has a number of core objectives including: -Concert LivingCollate data on a monthly basis and prepare all forecast financial reporting, including discussions with the commercial team to ensure information is up to date and accurate.Provide accounting and analytical expertise to the commercial team to ensure costs are appropriately recorded and budgets/forecasts are up to date and accurate.Provide expertise and assume the role of a ‘super user’ of our development cash flow software SDS Sequel, maintaining all standing data to ensure it is accurate and consistent.Prepare and maintain a rolling 5 year business plan and translate this annually into a budget for inclusion in the consolidated Group budget and its long term financial plan.Any other activities to support Concert Living that may be required.Progress LifelinePrepare monthly management accounts for Progress Lifeline documenting current performance and forecasts for the financial year.
