Monday – Friday day shifts starting from 8:30am (various finish times)

Providing day-to-day support to people with a mental health diagnosis and/or disability to help them live independently.
Fostering supports for community reintegration.
Development of life skills and encouraging community participation and relationship building.
Offering mentoring, companionship, and social support you would be working individually with the client to assist and achieve their goals.

Essential requirements:
Qualification in Community Services, Mental Health, Disability, or other relevant care related qualifications (or currently studying)
First Aid Certificate (current CPR)
NDIS Worker Check or current Yellow Card
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (completed)
Hold a current Australian driver’s license
Have a reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance to transport clients in
Evidence of COVID19 vaccinations
It is highly desirable for this role to have:
Previous experience as Mental Health Worker.
The ability to work a variety of casual shifts on a roster cycle.
Experience working in diverse and challenging environments.
A strong understanding of the difference between personal and professional relationship boundaries and can exercise emotional intelligence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability communicate effectively with participants, care leaders, health care professionals and other business stakeholders.
A strong understanding of the principles of privacy, confidentiality, and duty of care.
