Job Description : Permanent Company Accountant required for Newtownabbey.The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the delivery of the following duties: Oversee the day to day running of the finance function within the company headquartersPreparation of monthly/quarterly/ yearly management accounts for a group of companies; and presentation of same to the Board of DirectorsPreparation of job costing analysis;Preparation of budget and cash flow forecasting;Processing of payroll and CIS returns;Annual statutory accounts preparation and management of annual audits, Liaising with auditors and preparing the audit packPrepare monthly KPI Reports within the finance departmentSubmitting quarterly and bi monthly VAT returns for UK and ROICarrying out bank reconciliationsMaintaining & updating fixed asset recordsManaging ledgersProducing budgets and forecastsManaging cash flow and bank balancesDealing with Companies House and National Statistics returns UK and ROIProviding cover for the Accounts Administrator duties, including payroll and purchase ledger administration.Providing general financial advice to the Financial Director, Shareholders and ManagersCompleting and processing EC Sales/Intrastat ReportingEssential Criteria: CIMA Qualified or Qualified by 7+ years experience;Strong communication skills;Strong IT skills.Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar roleExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Excellent interpersonal skillsCommitted and enthusiasticWell organisedAbility to plan and meet deadlinesDesirable criteria:Experience and knowledge of accounting using SAGE 200 softwareStrong IT skillsPayroll experience UK and ROISalary £35,000- £45,000 (depending on experience)For further information contact Tanya Lyttle at GenTech on 028 926796687Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to Friday
