Job Description
About the role

Numerator is currently looking for a Configuration Engineer to join our AWC team. In this role, you will be responsible for create new configurations or maintain configurations for various online retailers, developing and maintaining code solutions to overcome any hurdles faced. Day-to-day, you’ll come up with creative solutions to complex problems, and learn new skills to complement your existing abilities.

What you will get to do
Write clean, efficient, thoroughly tested code, back-up with pair programming and code reviews. Much of our code is NodeJS, but we use other frameworks too like puppeteer.
Maintain the platform that captures our promo images at scale.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the platform and configurations to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Evaluate the technical trade-offs of decisions and build things that last and scale. • Maintain and fix existing configuration issues.
Create and analyse new configuration technologies – figuring out how we can scale up our automated web capture solution.

Skills & Requirements
Working knowledge of browser automation tool like selenium, puppeteer, etc.
Familiarity with web technology, such as XML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, Agility Pack, RegEx, jQuery and XPath
Working knowledge in Web API, Web services
An eagerness to learn new things, and improve upon existing skills, abilities, and practices
A passion for writing clear, concise, and comprehensible code
Should be able to come up with creative solution to complex problem with longer and broader vision.
Proficiency in oral and written communication, and an ability to collaborate in a team environment
Flexibility to work over weekend rotation and extended hours

Nice to have

Programming experience in NodeJS
Working knowledge in MSSQL
Working knowledge of Puppeteer.
Knowledge about RabbitMQ.
Familiarity working in Linux environment and PM2 tool.
Knowledge of Log Analysis Tools
Knowledge in OO concepts.
Good concepts of version control (Git).
Work with project management software (JIRA, etc)
