Job Description : Landscape Construction Crew Leader Landscape Construction – Crew LeaderARE YOU LOOKING FOR A POSITION WITH A COMPANY THAT PROVIDES YOU WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW?Then…JOIN A DIFFERENT KIND OF LANDSCAPE TEAM.We focus on designing and building ecological landscapes that provide habitat for wildlife and promote sustainability with native species.YOU CAN BE a full-time Crew Leader that grows within this small but fast-growing company.YOU CAN GROW within Restoration Organics with the educational opportunities we offer to expand your professional development.FROM: Crew Member – > Crew Leader – > Supervisor – > Project Manager——————————————————————–1) EXPECTED CANDIDATE QUALITIES: Self directed individualSelf motivatedAbility to leadAbility to solve issuesDedicatedPassion for landscapingReliableAbility to work efficiently and lead the crew efficiently2) YOUR ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES ARE: a) Crew Management:When not meeting crew at project, the Crew Leader will be safely driving crews to and from jobs, adhering to Company’s safety policy, and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews.Overseeing day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew members.Helping to maintain the provided schedule, and ensuring service goals are met.Providing the owner with feedback on crew members.Assisting in the development and training of crew members.Turn in accurate crew time logs via the app.Complete task reports daily from the app.Know and Understand OSHA safety protocols and procedures.b) In the Field: Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.Removing invasive vegetation, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants.Installing trees, shrubs, and perennials per the designed plan.Installing hardscapes (gravel, pavers, stones.)Digging, spreading soil, compost, and/or mulch.Removing invasive plants and sod.Installing erosion control methods.Pick up and deliver project materials and supplies.Inspect and accept materials delivered to the site.Turn in receipts and paperwork for materials, supplies, fuel, and deliveries weekly.3) SAFETY: Performing safety checklists with the crew and making sure all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA.Checking that equipment is in good working order and receives scheduled maintenance.4) BENEFITS: Year-round workWeekly payPaid time off and sick days for full-time employeesPaid training workshops and coursesOpportunities for growth within the companyPaid time off to voteABOUT RESTORATION ORGANICS: At Restoration Organics, the Landscape Laborer role is more than just a job– it’s an opportunity to make the world a better place, one job site at a time.
