General descriptionConsultants are members in the Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) team and will be involved in client engagements for Middle East clients on an offshore or onshore basis.Consultants will engage with the MENA stakeholders and GDS management to deliver client engagements or to prepare proposals in the FCC domain.Consultants should have good communication skills and shall be good at preparing control documents, prepare presentations and shall also be a good presenter.Consultants shall consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the engagement assigned to him/herConsultants shall be responsible to monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomesDemonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledgePossess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledgeThe job could require travel (80% to 100%) to client locations in the Middle East.

Job Profile:
Development & Design of AML scenario using Data AnalyticsAML threshold initialization by setting initial parameters across all AML transaction monitoring scenariosAlert risk scoring models to reduce and prioritize alert volumesCustomer segmentation data analysisAbility to develop and execute Transaction monitoring scenarios using SAS/ R / Python programmingAbility to develop and execute name screening algorithms using SAS/R/SQL/PythonKnowledge in tuning of scenario thresholds and running the scenarios to perform alert matches using historical analysisAbility to develop and review of risk modelsAbility to conducting data review, data quality, data mapping and data remediations.
Knowledge, education and qualification:
Knowledge in R/SAS/SQL/Python programmingKnowledge and experience in Data AnalyticsWorking knowledge of anti-money laundering and financial sanctions rules and regulationsExperience in developing and validating financial modelsUnderstanding of Financial Crime systems like FicroSoft, SAS, Mantas etc.Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or BTech. Data Analytics specialization would be an added requirement.
