Job Description : Essential Job Functions: Develop and manage strategy, storytelling and craftsmanship in all media platforms with a passion for content, digital and social. This will include long and short-form video, digital experiences, social media execution and emerging channels.Analyze available insights and define overall social strategy in terms of distribution and amplification. This may include competitive analysis.Drive awareness of the Blank Family Foundation, its programs, key staff and grantees via all social media platforms and the website.Understand/leverage recent developments in social platforms’ targeting capabilities to provide an opportunity for the Blank Family Foundation and grantees to connect with all relevant audiences.Translate Foundation objectives into social media objectives driving ROI.In addition to social media, lead and execute content creation and digital strategies including PowerPoint decks, website population/enhancement and newsletter creation, among others.Provide digital material support for Foundation Board and staff.Develop and execute integrated communications plans while collaborating with the larger foundation communications team.Collaborate with the for-profit businesses in the Blank Family of Businesses portfolio to drive awareness and leverage assets for all philanthropic efforts.Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams, video contractor and external foundation grantees to drive collaborative storytelling that contributes to program results.Create and manage relationships with community partners and relevant influencers to expand reach and bring additional voices/knowledge/perspective to our storytelling and knowledge sharing.Basic Qualifications: Four (4) to six (6) years of professional experience in social marketing, with proven examples of strategies developed for brands in the social media spaceExpert understanding of social media and established understanding of the wider digital communications landscapePassionate about the ever evolving digital/social media environment with an agile POV to shareExcellent verbal, writing and presenting skills; attention to detail is essentialProficient at development of social media strategy and development of monthly content calendars for a multitude of both consumer facing and business facing clientsStrong understanding of analytics, with the ability to generate quarterly reports to present metrics to stakeholders and foundation leaders based on various strategies implemented in social media, both organic and paidStrong content writing for social media with the ability to identify target audiences and create content that appeals to those profiles based on foundation goals and objectivesBe a contributing member to a team that believes in embodying and enriching the spirit of giving back displayed by Mr. Arthur Blank and his familyBaseline graphic design and video editing experience preferredSelf-motivated, with the ability and confidence to bring new ideas to the tablePreferred Qualifications: Creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, collaborative and would enjoy an entrepreneurial environmentWriting and editing skillsBasic knowledge of PhotoshopBasic knowledge of PowerPointPaid social media experiencePassion for giving back both personally and professionallyThe Arthur M.
