Reports to: VP, People – LTK

Job Purpose: The Director, Human Resources – International supports LTK international operations and people-related needs of LTK’s International Business Unit with teams in the UK, Brazil, France, Germany, Australia, China, and South Korea with more expansion plans in the near future. This role is responsible for supporting fast moving business needs as our business scales. The Director of Human Resources serves as a consultant to leaders on people-related initiatives and anticipates needs of the business as we grow. The successful individual acts as a change agent and proactively works with leaders to build, develop, coach, and motivate high-performing team members who demonstrate and live out our values and leadership imperatives daily. Successful candidates have demonstrated experience in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and HR Programs to implement solutions that help scale the business globally.

You’ll guide the following activities for our International Business Unit:

Coach managers to be effective leaders, helping them to anticipate and plan for future skills/capabilities needs in their teams. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provide expertise and leadership on a range of HR disciplines, including employee relations, total reward, change management, high potential programs, etc.
Provide guidance and input on team restructures and workforce planning.
Identify and address succession issues through talent management programs and develop ready-now candidates as well as a robust and diverse leadership pipeline for the future.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Partner with in-country legal advisors as needed/required for country-specific employment law guidance.
Develop a positive, creative, and ethical environment throughout the business unit and contribute to a unified company team and culture, with effective communications, and relationships across multiple leaders and sub-teams.
Serve as a champion for the culture and core values to promote exceptional business performance. Lead efforts to preserve and enhance the culture of LTK through supporting initiatives that unite the team.
Participate in weekly meetings with respective business unit General Manager.
Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with country-specific laws. Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment law requirements related to day-to-day. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan for each country.
Support growth of our international offices and expansion into new territories.
Support continuous improvement and standards of excellence across the company.
Act as the voice and senior-level advocate for all employees to leadership.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Provide execution of Company and People Team policy guidance and interpretation.
Manage contracts for new hires, promotions and transfers.
Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Identify training needs for functional area and individual executive coaching needs.
Conduct training and collaborates People Operations to engage external training vendors
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Support talent selection process by participating in interview processes.
Support bi-annual performance review and annual remuneration process.
Communicate needs proactively with our People Operations department and business management, seeking to develop integrated solutions.
Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the function’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
This person collaborates with function leaders to implement policies and directs as well as coordinates human resources (People Team) led activities for development and engagement within the International Business Unit.

Candidates will minimally need to have:

10+ years of relevant HR Generalist experience.
5+ years of technology industry experience
Previous experience supporting your designated function.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or HR discipline or related field.
Ability to engage and connect with team members
Hands on operational style with high interaction within the team
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent verbal and good written communication skills
Builds relationships and works well across functions.
Exhibits dedication to helping peers succeed and demonstrates willingness to train and mentor employees.

Ideal candidates will have:

10+ years of HR Leadership experience.
SHRM or HCRI qualification highly desirable
CCP Certification a plus but not required
Global Compensation and Sales Compensation experience preferred
At least 4 of those years supporting a business unit in a high growth company technology
Has exceptional analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills.
