Job Description : The Director of Global Technical Revenue Enablement is responsible for driving Sauce Labs go-to-market revenue targets through technical competency of our direct and partner selling audiences. The ideal candidate must have the customer in their heart and a desire to drive scalable productivity in their core. This Director is a professor and evangelist for Sauce Labs by teaching how to position, demonstrate and deliver value for our buyers and practitioner personas.

The Technical Director will have the following focus:

Elevating the customer experience at each stage of the engagement process.
Creating a technical enablement strategy and aligning programs that ensure competency to produce measurable leading indicators of revenue.
Optimizing for scale and velocity

Primary Responsibilities:

Aligning strategic goals to technical readiness programs that drive excellent discovery, demonstrations, POCs, implementations and customer support.
Becoming an integral part of our GTM meetings, strategic customer engagements and partner meetings to identify GTM gaps and ways that Sauce Labs can improve the technical pre-sale and post-sale experience at scale.
Designing, creating and delivering the technical components of readiness tool-kits and playbooks for sales activities, events and campaigns which include learning, role-play, coaching, and assessment.
Owning and driving global technical enablement delivery including instructor-led training, e-Learning, tracking of milestones, prioritization of actions, communications plans and reporting of status.

Position Requirements:

Experience developing strategy and building competency-based technical sales enablement programs for global pre-sales teams and partner organizations including but not limited to: onboarding, sales plays for new product launches, competitive positioning and demonstration certification
5+ years of presales/sales or engineering/sales engineering experience successfully selling enterprise SaaS solutions to technical audiences in Fortune 500 companies
Coaching GTM teams in the technical aspects of sales execution to drive quarterly quota attainment, while helping cast vision for professional development to create larger growth.
Ability to interface and communicate with the global leadership team to gather business requirements and translate into executables
Willingness to build the foundations and revise constantly to align with company needs

Technical Skill Requirements:

Expertise in programming concepts in various languages including but not limited to Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, and .NET.
Expertise in Agile development methodologies
DevOps and testing experience (Selenium/Appium)
Experienced with proxy servers, network troubleshooting and firewall configurations.
Experienced with open source testing frameworks, methodology and principles.
Familiarity with SaaS solutions, concepts and business models.
Experienced with mobile app development and testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
Mobile game development experience preferred

Bonus Points For:

Certification in one of more of the following sales methodologies: Corporate Visions, Demo2Win!, Command of the Message, Sandler or Value Selling.
Experience deploying and adopting enablement technology platforms such as Highspot.
