This is an excellent opportunity to become involved with a team facing an exciting period of change and challenge. Following publication of a new Digital Strategy for Portsmouth Hospitals Trust, the IT Department is embracing a new brief, in championing digital transformation and raising digital maturity across the organisation. It is seeking a forward thinking, dynamic and experienced individual, with a proven history of delivering results, to fill this key role.
The Role:
We are looking for someone to lead the delivery of an integrated suite of system technologies across Theatres, Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Preoperative Assessments, which is a key deliverable within Portsmouth Hospitals Digital Agenda. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the EPR Project and its programme management (including several workstreams, interfacing and operational development of the service). You will ensure; systems & processes are in place to assure delivery and provide oversight; integration of key clinical, managerial & operational processes and; governance & controls are implemented to transition to a sustainable operational service and realise benefits.
The Candidate:
You will be suitably qualified and be able to demonstrate a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience in similar roles (preferably within healthcare and the public sector).
It is expected that you will have previously been working at senior technical, professional and management levels with other organisations, and have a proven history of consistently delivering good results.
You will be a highly confident individual, demonstrating excellent judgement, self-belief, drive, and persistence to see things through.
You must be able to demonstrate that you can motivate and inspire others through inclusive and collaborative working.
You will be able to demonstrate the intellectual flexibility necessary to work in a complex and changing environment, developing, and delivering innovative solutions for short-term priorities and long-term goals.
