Purpose of Position

The Endpoint Configuration Engineer, Senior is responsible for project execution, Task development, documentation, and upgrade/maintenance of the System Center Configuratio manager and Windows Workstation/Apple Mac environments at NetJets. The Endpoint Configuration Engineer, Senior is called on to provide direction to the junior engineers on the team, and act as SME for SCCM related tasks and processes and supervise their actions. The Endpoint Configuration Engineer, Senior is responsible for developing processes and assisting junior engineers in execution to help ensure the stability and security of NetJets’ endpoints.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Developing processes, deployments and configurations for execution by Junior enginneers , implementation and documentation.
Guiding Junior Engineers in supporting Intune/Microsoft Endpoint manager in the cloud and Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) including imaging, patching, application deployment, configuration management and upgrades. Tier 3 Help Desk ticket resolution.
Development of endpoint based standards, guidelines and policies coupled with project planning. This includes support of Active Directory, Group Policies, Intune cloud based device management and disaster recovery.
Coaching in Support of Dev, Testing and QA in Agile processes
Assist in leading and coaching/development of junior associate level engineers.

4-6 years of experience in an Infrastructure role with a focus on Microsoft and Apple system administration

MCSA reccomended, MCSE is a plus
Experience with automation utilizing Power Shell or other common scripting language
Experience with AD, Azure, Office 365, Intune (MEM) Microsoft Endpoing Management, DNS Preferred
AWS / Cloud, Workspaces experience highly desirable
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Terminal Services, Group Policy Creation and Management, Windows 10, MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Symantec Endpoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Store for Business and Intune device management
Application Packaging and deployment with Installsheild or the App Deploy toolkit
Operational understanding of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code concepts and familiarity with System Center Configuration manage required
