Job Description : INVIXIUM is seeking an Android Framework Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be part of the product development team, designing and developing system software that runs on embedded systems. An Android Framework Engineer is involved in all areas of development of embedded systems and system software from design to development to testing.

Invixium provides an end-to-end access control, workforce management and health screening solution using touchless biometrics. Our devices capture accurate data which is used to perform intelligent analytics and generate meaningful, user-friendly dashboards to help businesses of all sizes become more healthy, productive and secure. Responsibilities:
Designing and developing core AOSP middleware systems using C and/or C++.
Implement custom services, applications, and device management features.
Producing unit, functional, integration and interchangeability tests, including automated tests when possible.
Collaborate with computer vision and machine learning teams to architect middleware services that enable multi-user AR experiences over AOSP.
Writing technical documents, including architecture diagrams and API descriptions.
Ensure the product software has the highest quality, performance and security.
Porting and Integration of Android framework to new hardware platforms for Android smartphones.
Customize Android framework to suit mobile devices of various form factors.
Build BSP for new hardware platform.
Debug and resolve Android framework integration issues.
Debug and resolve BSP issues.
Optimize the performance of Android framework.
Active participation in the scrum meetings.
Working experience in C, C++ or Core / Android Java programming, Android SDK, Android NDK.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering in Computers, Electronics and Communications or similar and a strong desire to learn
Minimum 1– 5 years of experience in an Android Framework Engineer role
Good knowledge and understanding of Android development, debugging tools
Good knowledge and understanding of Device Tree, Kernel/Framework interface, CTS failure analysis, GMS integration, system stability, peripheral modules, device drivers, etc.
Use of threads/mailbox/semaphore/mutex, Linux Internals, Android Internals (Socket programming, process synchronization)
Experience in embedded system development, preferably Android Mobile platform.
Expert in OS concepts (multi-core processing, threads, processes, sockets, etc), algorithms, data structures.
Experience in modifying framework services such as Window Manager, Activity Manager, Package Manager and so on.
Experience in customising SystemUI, navigation bar and notifications.
Experience with existing AOSP middleware service systems (IPC, system policy, etc).
Experience with Android & GNU Makefiles, ADB, SQLite and shell scripts
Good knowledge and understanding of Android internals (Android N to P)
Work experience in QC chipset
Experience in modification of Android framework code for customization
