This role is for a Engineer – Data and Analytics with strong technical competence and fair knowledge in Power BI development and Azure Data Engineering.
As a member of the Data & BI team, you will help build robust data platforms that will serve our stakeholders and help make better decisions. Business users would use visualization tools like Power BI, Report Builder, Spotfire; the team is responsible to make sure they always have an accurate, simple and reliable data source.

Develop different proto-types.
Business impact/savings/efficiencies are well documented and signed off by the client/stakeholder.
This is an individual contributor role, might lead some project teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
Developing various business intelligence and data solutions.
Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and standardised reports/applications to monitor and drive the business.
Collect, organise, analyse and interpret data and statistical information to extrapolate behaviour and patterns from the data that will provide innovation direction and value addition to the business using SQL and BI/Visualisation tools such as Power BI, Report Builder, Spotfire, MSBI.
Dashboard build and design for stakeholders using Advanced Power BI skills.
Develop application using Azure Data platform (SQLDB), Azure Data Factory, Azure Active Directory. Be able to design data warehouses and assembling data pipelines.
Source control and release management using Dev Ops of Data & BI applications.
Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence.
Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management and clients/stakeholders.
Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings.
Carry out Testing, Bug fixing, UAT along with the customers | clients | stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
Develop Data Solution and BI & Insights skills within the team through knowledge sharing sessions, articles, etc.
Participate in M&G Global Services community event, Management Open House, etc.
Adherence to organisations Risk & Controls requirements.
Support new joiners in the team whilst they get settled in the organisation through ‘Buddy’ program.
Qualification
Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree with specialization in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Data, Analytics, BI, Insights, Reporting domain.
The ability to participate effectively in meetings with business stakeholders.
A team player who supports, encourages and shares knowledge with others.
The ability to work as part of an integrated team or on an individual basis.
Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Mandatory)
At least 2 year of working experience using MS SQL, Power BI, Report Builder.
2 years of working experience using Azure Data Services
Python or other programming language skills.
Good understanding of Database types and structures.
Good understanding of ETL.
Basic understanding of different data warehouse Concepts.
Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired)
Experience with data gathering from different APIs.
Strong knowledge of Python.
Experience working with Power Platform.
Cloud based complete implementations on Azure platform.
JavaScript visualisation libraries, D3.js, Angular.js, HTML, CSS.
PowerShell scripting, .NET technologies, SharePoint development.
