About the Engineering Manager Role:

As an Engineering Manager you will be at the forefront of how customers interact with C2FO. Working with our Product team, you will create applications for both internal and external customers. This role has a large impact on team and developer productivity while offering the chance to learn new or expand upon your current technical abilities.
Essential Duties:

Our philosophy: short iterations with a focus on scalability while ensuring maintainability.Respectful towards teammates regardless of their abilities.Proficient communication in English both written and verbalBuild, lead, and grow successful engineering teams alongside a shown commitment to recruiting great talent. Recruiting is everyone’s responsibility at C2FO.Conduct weekly One-on-Ones with all of your reports giving them quick, actionable, and effective feedback.Set direction for engineering team strategy, share context by elaborating the “why,” empower everyone to achieve their best work, and drive execution of projects while setting clear expectations.Guide teams to build and deliver high-quality products at scale against tight timelines while encouraging creativity.Inspire a collaborative culture and uphold C2FO’s values alongside high engineering standards to bring consistency to the codebases, infrastructure, and processes.Knowledge of Kubernetes and docker.Exhaustive experience of at least one of the back-end languages (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Go).Work experience in JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js, Typescript, Nest JS, React) is a plus.Work experience in microservice and serverless architecture.
We would be particularly delighted to hire someone who has experience with:
Worked and developed with at least one of the cloud providers – AWS/GCP/Azure.Building and maintaining scalable and resilient applications.Working in an agile environment in previous companies.Have run Plannings/Groomings/Standups for teams earlier.Understands the fundamentals of Distributed systems.
