Your background
Experienced in global collaborative working model with good communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Core JAVA, Spring framework, Python, HTML5, React.js, Node.js
The candidate should have sound knowledge of relational databases preferably SQL Server.
Must have worked on source control system preferably GIT, knowledge of build scripts (ANT or MAVEN) and deployment framework like Jenkins.
Should have general knowledge of Risk and Pnl generation processing concepts of Fixed income products
Should possess good problem-solving skills, ability to logically define a problem and find solutions, should be strong communicator
What you can expect
This role is seated in the Asia FICC Credit PnL App Team that works closely with Global Credit Technology Team and shared across all regions. The primary responsibility would be to cater to Asia Business requirements as well as Global deliverables for Front Office Trading Desks and finance users in other regions. The Global platform is used for daily PnL generation, FLASH PnL generation for credit products (Bonds, CDS etc.). Candidate would be expected to proactively acquire knowledge to build up expertise in relative system flows and business area. Candidate should have strong application development background experience to understand the existing legacy system and work on developing/migrating to the firm wide strategic system. This would be a great opportunity to work in a global team, interact with business and support partners and taking the responsibility to deliver results.
What you will do
Primary responsibility of the candidate will be to implement solutions for firm wide strategic initiatives, business-driven requests, Projects for Regional and Global trading desks and platform stability.
Be the lead developer in the region for the quartz based PnL application platform.
Participate in global agile development methodology synchronizing to regional scrum schedule.
Work with regional and global partners to build on domain knowledge required to deliver on regional and global deliverables.
Work with regional and global support partners to provide timely response to business production queries and outages.
Follow banks SDLC best practices and take ownership of deliverables.
Represent APAC’s needs and attend meeting with global partners from time to time.
