As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial support and guidance to the operational businesses to support growth and profitability. Working with internal stakeholders including sales, commercial and operational teams you will support them in interpreting financial results and information to provide insight that drives the opportunity to enable growth and profitability of the company.
As our new Finance Business Partner your role will over, financial reporting, planning and analysis. Drive continuous process and business improvements, forecasting and budgeting alongside establishing costing models and business partnering.
Main responsibilities:
Manage the daily and weekly KPI and P/L reporting for business areas in your remit, ensuring direct reports provide results to the business within set timelines and reporting requirements.
Manage and produce the monthly results for business areas in your remit, ensuring they are prepared in accordance with group guidelines or normal accounting practice, whichever is to be applied in relation to the accounts.
Produce monthly board reports for business areas in your remit.
Ensure balance sheet integrity each period — reconciliations should be reviewed monthly for all assigned nominal ledger accounts, including packaging and raw material accounts.
Manage and produce the appropriate year end accounts and schedules to meet the company and group financial year end reporting requirements and timetable
You will be a qualified accountant, a self-starter with the ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an aptitude for problem-solving and decision making.
Experience working in a fast-paced, complex commercial environment is key along with a demonstrable record of budget management, governance, and the ability to understand and interpret commercial and financial landscapes.
