Job Description : Our client, a successful business with a vibrant culture is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join their busy team. This new role will work closely with the MD to support business decisions.As the finance lead for the operational business, you will play a key role in driving profitable revenue & EBITDA growth to ensure the business achieves its financial goals. Working with the MD, you will be responsible for shaping commercial decision-making surrounding distribution channels, products & operating models, with an ability to understand the key drivers of the Business and the foresight to predict challenges & opportunities before they arise.This is an incredibly exciting role for a qualified accountant who’s keen to work closely with the business leader and contribute to future growth and increased profitability by providing insightful and meaningful financial information. You should be inquisitive in your approach with great communication skills as you will liaise with all parts of the business.The jobReview, interpret and communicate the monthly management accounts to the MD and wider Company Executive TeamUnderstand and produce analysis to highlight key themes, KPIs and trends in the business’ performanceTake a pro-active approach to identify areas of opportunity with the MD and Operational Leads and to mitigate risksDevelop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiativesProvide ad-hoc, relevant management information and analysis as required by other areas of the groupWork closely with the MI team to ensure MI reporting provides the insight required to drive the business forward with the MDOwn the budgeting processBuild and lead a forecasting process to ensure the business understands the trajectory of its performancePartner with central finance when needed and other departmentsLead ad-hoc projects when required.The personExperience – ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified with previous insurance industry experience. Business Partnering experience is desirableCollaborative – Works as part of a team to ensure the objectives of the finance team are achieved.
