The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and dynamic finance professional to lead within financial management team supporting a number of the Trust’s Clinical Business Units.
The successful applicant will lead within a team which is responsible for ensuring the provision of effective, high quality financial information for the Clinical Business Units, undertaking complex financial analyses, supporting business cases and maintaining effective and accurate management accounts and forecasts.
The role offers significant opportunities for personal development as many aspects of the job involve building relationships and developing a deep understanding of the business of a range of complex hospital services. The department also aims to develop individuals through active involvement in Future Focused Finance and HFMA programmes.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant along with demonstrable relevant experience in a related field of expertise. Participation in continuing professional development will be expected.
Following recent staff turnover, our Finance department is currently under-represented by women in senior positions.
