Job Description : Financial Controller – Privately Owned Family Business

Our client privately owned family run business is recruiting for a Financial Controller, this is a no1 in Finance role so offers great autonomy and exposure to the business directors. The business has recorded exceptional organic growth and is now appointing a Financial Controller for the first time to help deliver the next phase of growth.

Duties:
Leading a small finance team
Monthly management/financial accounts preparation and reporting to Owners
P+L /Balance sheet responsibility
Budgets and forecasting
Audit requirements
This role would make a great move for an experienced qualified accountant who has experience leading a finance department, the business are investing heavily into systems and would like the incoming Financial Controller to play a key role in delivering a systems implementation project.

This is a good all-encompassing Financial Controller role and it is likely this role could evolve into a Finance Director role if the business executes their successful growth plans.
