Job Description : Grafton Banks Finance is exclusively assisting a successful and growing SME business near East Grinstead with the recruitment of a Financial Controller. This business is about to undertake a major growth plan with private equity investment. The role will start as Financial Controller and develop into the company Finance Director role with potential shares.You will need to be a fully qualified accountant ideally with previous experience of working within an SME in order to apply, although not essential. Reporting into the MD and board of directors and managing a small team you will take responsibility for:
Prepare monthly management accounts for three companies and consolidate
Set KPIs
Preparation of budgets and analysis of variances
Provide management information on business performance
P&L Management
Management of overheads and expenses
Review and improve current systems and processes
Oversee the finance team
Prepare cash flow and trading forecasts
Liaise with the Company Accountants at Year End
