Podcasting as an industry is at a nascent stage in India, but most reports conclude that podcasting is at the point of inflection due to the cheap data rates, higher penetration of smartphones, and growing popularity of listening apps like Gaana etc.
Founded by two serial entrepreneurs (and MDI alumnus) – Akshay Datt and Saurabh Garg, thepodium.in is a podcast network with a focus on creating inspirational content for lifelong learners. The goal of thepodium.in is to inspire a billion people and build communities of lifelong learners around various interest areas.
The Founder Thesis podcast is our flagship show that features stories of the founder’s journey to scale, and is captured as an authentic and candid conversation between the show host (Akshay Datt) and the founder. The intent is to present an authentic picture of the journey of a founder with all the lows and highs, and create a compelling story of the journey so far.

About the Job
As a Video Production and Editing Specialist, you will be involved in creating an a compelling video experience for our audience by undertaking the following activities:
~ Mixing and merging files and enhancing video and audio quality
~ Applying layers, adding text, adding frames, making slides etc to increase the production quality of the video
~ Applying judgement to edit the episode by identifying the appropriate content to keep
~ Creating an enhanced experience by removing irrelevant content, distractions, noise etc
~ Creating promotional reels for the podcast by applying judgement on the best parts of the conversation and converting it into byte sized content
